About Us
The CCYFL Football League is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization re-established in 2015 to provide children with the opportunity to participate in youth football and cheer. Through the dedication of our volunteers, the CCYFL provides children the chance to learn the values of character, integrity, discipline, and teamwork through football and cheer; to bring our communities together through a common interest in sports; to promote fair play and fellowship; and to teach the fundamentals of the game while promoting safety, enjoyment, and healthy competition.
Our volunteer representatives continually work with State and County government officials to ensure that the sport we love is allowed to continue, even during challenging times such as a pandemic, by maintaining a strong focus on strict safety standards and ongoing coach training guidelines. In 2025, we are comprised of 80 teams and close to 2,000 football players, including 10 Pitbull teams. This is a tremendous accomplishment made possible by the countless hours and dedication of our volunteers, our programs, our league, and the sport of football. One of the things that has made this league successful is that we are self-governed, with each program represented and having a vote. This works because of the respect, trust, and commitment demonstrated by our volunteer leaders, who consistently put the best interests of the league ahead of individual programs.
As an organization led entirely by volunteers, we will continue to build strong foundations for our athletes while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and conduct among our programs, players, parents, coaches, and volunteers. We look forward to many successful seasons ahead and the continued growth of our players and programs. As evidenced by each of our programs fielding Pitbull teams, the future is bright—and we have our dedicated volunteers, families, and supporters to thank for making it all possible.
